English: The Lawn, Paddington Station, London, England. The concourse at Paddington is traditionally known as the Lawn - nobody is sure quite why, although one theory is that there was a patch of grass here when the station was first opened. For many years this was a rather scruffy and unattractive area, but it has now been transformed with a collection of shops, bars and eateries. The Thursday evening crowd seems to be taking full advantage of what's on offer, including the sushi bar.
