This is a tracking category for [[WP:CS1|CS1 citations]] that use {{para|date}} and {{para|year}}. With the implementation of date checking in [[Module:Citation/CS1]], separate {{para|date}} and {{para|year}} parameters for <code>CITEREF</code> disambiguation became unnecessary except in the case where {{para|date}} holds a year-initial numeric date (YYYY-MM-DD) which style does not support <code>CITEREF</code> disambiguation. Citations that use both parameters should be inspected and where possible the redundant {{para|year}} parameter removed and if appropriate, the {{para|date}} parameter modified to include the <code>CITEREF</code> disambiguator. Pages in this category should only be added by [[Module:Citation/CS1]].
