The stub templates I added aren't all of our stub templates, just a subset which we deemed to cover most areas which might be of interest to editors. Of course, it's a problem if there are too many for the system to handle.
:I'm not knowledgeable enough about {{tl|standardstub}} to give you an answer. I'm gonna ping {{svar til|Steenth}} Steen, do you think there would be any unintended consequences from this?
