En '''catchphrase''' er et udtryk, der bliver gentaget mange gange. De stammer ofte fra [[populærkultur]] og kunst og spredes typisk gennem en blanding af [[massemedie]]r (som [[litteratur]], film, fjernsyn, [[radio]]) og ved [[mund-til-mund]].
