== Arven efter Patton ==
* [[General George Patton Museum]] i [[Fort Knox]], [[Kentucky]].
* Et museum, som er viet til Patton og hans indsats i træningen af en million soldater til kamp i Afrikas ørkener finder man på stedet for hans Desert Training Center ved Chiriaco Summit i [[Californien]]. En statue af Patton kan ses fra den nærliggende motorvej (Interstate 10).
* To aktive [[United States Army]] installationer er opkaldt efter General Patton. Patton Barracks huser den amerikanske hærs hovedkvarter i [[Heidelberg]], [[Tyskland]]. Patton Army Air Field i Camp Arifjan, [[Kuwait]], yder helikopterstøtte m.v. for hærenheder i det sydlige Kuwait.
* Patton serien af tanks, herunder [[M60 Patton]] er opkaldt efter ham.
* Pattons søn, [[George Patton IV|George S. Patton IV]], blev også officer i hæren og gjorde tjeneste efter slutningen af 2. verdenskrig (han var i sit sidste år på West Point da hans far døde). Han gjorde tjeneste i [[Korea]] og [[Vietnam]], og steg i graderne til generalmajor. En af hans sidste opgaver var som chef for 2nd Armored Division, U.S. Army, den samme enhed, som hans far var chef for i starten af 2. verdenskrig, hvilket betød at de blev det første far-søn par, som har haft kommandoen over den samme division i hæren. Patton trak sig tilbage fra aktiv tjeneste i [[1980]] til en hestefarm i [[Virginia]]. Han døde i [[2004]] i en alder af 80 år.

* Pattons barnebarn, Margaret Georgina Patton, blev en katolsk nonne.
* I den [[Episkopale]] Vor Frelsers kirke i [[San Gabriel]], California, er der en glasmosaik, som viser Patton som en slags Skt. Georg. Han vises i en tank som kæmper mod en drage dekoreret med hagekors. Teksten i vinduet lyder "Jeg kæmper en god kamp".
* Han efterlod sig en 63 fods Alden schooner, som han havde døbt "When and If", fordi som han sagde til sin kone When (når) krigen er forbi, og 'If' (hvis) jeg overlever, vil vi sejle jorden rundt i hende."
