Help requested with translation redigér

Hi. First, I apologize for the English. If I could write in Danish, I would not need to ask your assistance. :)

As the Wikimedia Foundation is operating under a new Terms of Use that applies to both readers and users, we need to update the link at the bottom of this page to point to those Terms of Use instead of to local copyright policy.

The problem is that none of the volunteer translators have yet offered a Danish version. We will have to link to the English Terms if no translation is prepared, but obviously would prefer to offer them in Danish if possible.

If any of you who are bilingual have time and interest, your assistance with that translation would be tremendously helpful. To translate, you go into the special translation page (you can follow that link or find the link labeled “translated version” at the top of the page needing further translation). It’s a pretty cool system. You’ll see a table. The green sections still need translation. Click on the link in the first box on a row with a green section, and it will take you into the edit screen.

Any help you could offer would be very much appreciated! We need to implement this change very soon, and would really love to be able to offer it in Danish. If you have any questions, please let me know on my talk page.

Thank you for any help you can provide. --Maggie Dennis (WMF) (diskussion) 20. okt 2012, 16:42 (CEST)

Really good progress has been made on meta:wiki/Terms_of_use/the translation. :) It is at this writing 29% complete. Thank you, Bruger:Cgtdk, Bruger:Krestenklit and Bruger:Nillerdk for picking up the work there. I know how difficult translating legal text can be. :/
Because the Terms of Use guide all users of the project, I have had to go ahead and update the link to point to the Terms of Use that are complete, in English. I am watching the translation so that I can change that the instant it is complete. Anyone fluent in both languages is very welcome to help with this work, in translating and proofreading the evolving document. Again, please drop me a note at my talk page if you have any questions or if I can assist in any way. Thanks. --Maggie Dennis (WMF) (diskussion) 26. okt 2012, 18:19 (CEST)
