Hi there. What are you doing?

Be aware that Wikipedia is not the place to write about yourself or your organization. You cant be neutral and we don’t want promotional articles here either.

Please give some feedback. Regards KnudW (diskussion) 10. aug 2019, 20:35 (CEST)

FYI science is in Wikidata a big thing. Particularly ensuring that information about scientists and their work is available to the readers of Wikipedia. As such there is a project where information is imported and shown using Scholia. We do include awards, we do link to the new science articles about scientists written by Jess Wade among others.
The reason why I reached out to the Global Young Academy is because they embody young scientists from the whole world, any and all disciplines of science and experience particularly with the German entity shows that these people get around, prove to be relevant. It is why GerardM is including these scientists in Wikidata and linked them using Listeria lists on 10 Wikipedias and counting.
He will be at Wikimania in Stockholm.. A good time to meet and discuss how to expose science to the Wikipedia public. Thanks, GlobalYoungAcademyTeam (diskussion) 10. aug 2019, 21:18 (CEST)

bruger:GerardM — I still don’t get what this is and why it’s here on dawiki. Can you explain it, because right now, i’m only seeing potential wasting of our time. regards KnudW (diskussion) 1. sep 2019, 14:50 (CEST)

There are Danish young academics in this list. Science is global and has a local side. With these Listeria lists it is easy to provide basic information
and share globally about and for scientists. Thanks, GerardM (diskussion) 1. sep 2019, 15:16 (CEST)

Bruger:GerardM — you never really answered my question: what this is and why do we host material for an external organisation on a user page for a user, thats blocked on several Wikis.

I do not see any benefit for dawiki. Can you explain why we have this and why it should not be deleted? Regards KnudW (diskussion) 16. nov 2020, 22:29 (CET)

This is not about one organisation, there is one for a growing number of countries. We are biased in how we cover science; lists with global young scientists that are recognised for the best and brightest shows who are relevant and are to become notable for their scientific work. Thanks, GerardM (diskussion) 17. nov 2020, 06:55 (CET)
Bruger:GerardM - But why do you run this on dawiki? Sofar, I haven’t seen a single new article from this project.
Why can’t you run it on wikidata? Dawiki is not a webhost.
What are actually doing?
I miss some clear answers. Regards KnudW (diskussion) 17. nov 2020, 07:22 (CET)
On a yearly basis new scientists are added, their papers are aggregated in these lists and it shows the articles about these scientists in *your* Wikipedia. GerardM (diskussion) 17. nov 2020, 07:29 (CET)
