Biography

DJ Phil Jones aka Your Girlfriends Favorite DJ, born Philip Eddie Leon Russel Dencker Jones March 1st. 1976 in Copenhagen, Denmark. DJ, Producer, and club promoter. Phil Jones state to be influenced by legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff' and DJ Alladin on how the art of Scratching and mixing became his life passion. After Dj'ing various radio shows in the late 80's and early 90's, Phil Jones have toured with legendary Danish artist Natasha, and later Danish Hip Hop artist Clemens. In 1993, together with fellow members Jesper Nyborg and Jens Lomholt, Phil Jones formed the rap group Copenhaniacs. The group dismantled in 1994, but with member Jens Lomholt, Phil Jones continued Copenhaniacs as a production team going on to produce national, and international stars all the way to the present day. As a Club DJ, Phil Jones have played clubs all over Europe and Africa/Middleeast, opening/hosting parties etc.
