  • 08:5428. jan. 2019, 08:54 forskel hist −5 Indian Railways→‎Historie: The Tannah (now Thane) viaduct built in 1854, over Thane creek (Ulhas river), connected Bombay island to mainland as well as was first railway bridge in India, not the Dapoorie (now Dapodi) viaduct (which the earlier image showed), which actually was built later in 1855 and connected en route to Poona. Also Tannah lies on Bombay Island only, it was later extension to Callian on mainland during which this viaduct was built. The photos of both on wikipedia date from 1855 though.
