APOEL FC

APOEL FC er en cypriotisk fodboldklub, grundlagt i 1926, beliggende i den cypriotiske hovedstad, Nicosia. Til daglig spiller klubben på GSP Stadium, et stadion de deler med Olympiakos Nicosia og AC Omonia og som kan rumme 22.859 tilskuere. På hjemmebane spiller klubben med gule trøjer og blå shorts og på udebane med røde trøjer og hvide shorts. Siden det første mesterskab kom i hus i 1936 har klubben med jævne mellemrum vundet den cypriotiske 1. Division 20 gange.

Klubbens fans redigér
En af APOEL's største og mest populære fanklubber hedder PAN.SY.FI. Men på trods af at APOEL's spillere spiller med blå-gule farver, har klubbens fans siden 1992/93 sæsonen båret orange trøjer til klubbens kampe. Det gør de fordi klubben i 1992/93 mødte AEL Limasol på udebane i en vigtig kamp om mesterskabet. Her måtte klubben spille med orange udebanetrøjer, og da klubben vandt, besluttede klubbens fans at bære orangefarvede trøjer lige siden.
