Copenhagen based photograper,
Thomas Sjørup was born in 1970. Was trained as a photographer from the Danish Journalist High School in 1994. And has since worked as a freelance photographer from 1993 to 1998. After which he became a permanent employee at B.T. fra 1998 to 2001. He has since 2001 been permanently employed at Ekstra Bladet.
Thomas won in 1994 danish fuji award in news category
He published in 1999 the book Anything is possible in the Balkans with Thomas Hjortsø.
In 2010 he published the book KESSLER with Michael Enggard.
Thomas Sjørup is an experienced photographer and has for several years been specializing in photographing boxing and Bicycle Racing. And in 2012 covered the Olympics in London.
