I [[Tour de France]] 2013 sluttede [[Nairo Quintana]] på en samlet andenplads i Paris. Han vandt i samme løb [[bjergtrøjen]] og [[ungdomstrøjen]]. Andenpladsen i det samlede klassement var det bedste resultat for en colombiansk eller latinamerikansk rytter i Tour de France og den første Tour de France debutant til at slutte på podiet , siden [[Jan Ullrich]] i 1996. Efter Tour de France , gik Quintana videre til at vinde [[Vuelta a Burgos]] , hvor han også vandt 5. etape af løbet efter at have sat [[Vincenzo Nibali]] på den sidste stigning .
