Hello everyone! First of all I have to aoplogize that I write in English, but I don't speak any Danish. Also, I don't know where to ask general questions, so I'm using Wikipedia's Talk page.

I'm currently trying to start a UEFA Intertoto Cup archive but now I've got the problem that the first names of three AGF players are missing. In the 1995 Intertoto Cup, Aarhus played against Zabrze with the players S. Olesen, H. Søndergaard and T. Søndergaard appearing in the match (Olesen reappeared one week later against Karlsruhe). I was searching for hours but I am not able to find the given names of those three players. (Given that I don't speak Danish, it is quite difficult for me to find anything on this matter.) I only find the handball player Kasper Søndergaard who played for AGF, but I don't think they are related, since Kasper only came ten years later to Aarhus (2003) and wasn't born there anyway.

They never played in the Danish Super League as well, since I went through an excellent Danish football archive and did not find any of those players (they didn't even appear in the AGF squad in 1995). Olesen and the two Søndergaards probably never played other matches for AGF apart from these in the Intertoto Cup. Since the Intertoto Cup was a rather unimportant tournament at the beginning of a season, Olesen and the Søndergaards could be players from AGF's reserve team or maybe youth team (unfortunately, I wasn't able to find their birthdates as well). I guess those three fellows were test players that didn't make it to the squad, and who never reappeared in any higher level afterwards. The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that they were of Danish nationality.

Well, the point is, it would be very very nice if someone could help me out. Maybe some AGF fan remembers those players or someone has a game report from this match (against Zabrze on June 24, 1995 with all three players playing, and the match against Karlsruhe with only Olesen appearing on July 1) or something written in the newspapers of three players to be tested in the Intertoto Cup. Or you know someone who knows someone who knows someone...

Two of the names are Henrik Søndergaard and Torben Søndergaard. So far I haven't been able to locate "S.Olesen", as he is not mentioned in the clubs own registre of debutants since 1994. mvh Tøndemageren (diskussion) 22. apr 2016, 23:43 (CEST)
